Strategy Sessions
Strategy Sessions
Our strategy sessions are based off an idea we’ve developed called the Communications Pyramid.
First, your organization must develop a clear plan forward. This is what the church or ministry embodies why it exists and how it plans to move forward. Your organization has to be clear on this before you can go anywhere else.
Next, an organization must develop a communications strategy. This strategy considers both internal (staff, faculty and key volunteers) and external (larger community, donors, etc.) communities. A communications strategy aligns and accelerates what is most important to the organization.
Third, your organization must build a web strategy execution plan on top of your communications strategy. This is more than just a website. Too many organizations put all their eggs into one basket–the website. While the website is vitally important, it’s only one component of the overall strategy that includes email, private community sites and other technology that will move people along your strategy.
Lastly, an organization can begin to develop a social media strategy. Social media is organizational outposts. Social media is going out and engaging your broader community and connecting them to your vision. The website has been, and always will be, homebase. For the social media strategy to be sound, you have to have a solid base to send people.
We have seen these things consistently lead to significant results and changed lives.
